Anchored Occupational Therapy

About Us

We are a small private practice owned by Nadine Mackay, Occupational Therapist located 15 minutes from Wollongong, NSW, Australia. We are passionate about working with neurodiverse children and youth. We have a strong focus on working with families to build capacity in the areas meaningful to their children.

At Anchored Occupational Therapy, we seek to -

  • Support a child to engage in meaningful occupations* by supporting adjustments to the world around them, as well as supporting them to grow in their skills and confidence.

*Occupations are daily activities children need or want to do - such as eating, learning, making friends, brushing their teeth, etc.

  • Cherish each child or young person as unique, equal and valued.

  • Build capacity within families through regular parent/carer-only sessions, to  build on areas of strength, and problem-solve together areas of challenge.
